Clay Avery
Mediator & Attorney
Clay Avery is licensed to practice law but practices mediation as a primary means for conflict resolution. He is a TMCA Credentialed Advanced Mediator and a volunteer mediator at the Austin DRC. As a principal at MESA Dispute Resolution, he leads mediation trainings for the Austin and Tarrant County DRCs. Clay also teaches Conflict Analysis & Resolution at St. Edward’s University and Mediation at the UT School of Law. He serves as a Board member of TAM and Treasurer of the Austin Mediators Association. Clay holds a BBA from Texas Christian University and a JD from the University of Texas School of Law.
