Shelly L. Skeen (she/her) is the South Central Regional Director for Lambda Legal, over eight states, where she was also a Senior Attorney. Shelly is a seasoned litigator, appellate practitioner, mediator, and international arbitrator. She has appeared in the U.S. Supreme Court & the Texas Supreme Court. She served as Chair of the LGBTQ+ Law Section for the State Bar of Texas, President of the Dallas LGBT Bar Association, is a speaker on LGBTQ+ legal issues and is adjunct faculty for the University of Texas School of Law & UNT Dallas College of Law. The Texas Bar College awarded her its highest award for best CLE Article. She is a certified Queer & Trans Affirming Professional (QTAP).
